Alder Wood Soap Dish

One of the questions I get asked by new customers is, "How long will my bar last?" I always answer, honestly, "That depends." Bar soap need to be able to dry out between uses. If not, the soap will remain soft and last a short time. A soap dish that allows the water to drain away from the bar will allow the soap bar to last longer.  These soap dishes are made of alder wood.
